I bought this huge sword from a guy who was moving to California. It is awesome. I love jumping out of a room, while holding the sword and wearing only underwear, and yelling "This is Sparta!" at my girlfriend :) I'm such a nerd.

I always advise, if you are buying a gift card on Craigslist, that you meet at the store the gift card is from, because then you can check the value of the card before you purchase.

Prada Bag

My fiance was talking about how she wanted a big bag for her knitting, especially her plarn. I kept my eyes open and noticed an imitation Prada bag on Craigslist for $10. I think she really likes the idea of sticking her knitting needles in a Prada bag. After she saw the bag, she told me that it is going to be her everything bag. I'm pretty sure she liked it.

After I realized that I found my house, my car and many of the furnishings in my house on Craigslist, I decided to start a blog about the things I buy on Craigslist. I will be posting here whenever I make a new purchase with the story behind the item.
